OUR FINAL PEICE (SEQUENCE)

capturing and editing process

We missed the lesson where everyone was capturing so we had to catch up. We uploaded our film on the macs and began capturing all scenes in different angles that we felt we could have used in order to create our 2 minuite thrillers. Like with our prelim task we labeled each shot we cropped to reflect what it was in order to make it easier for us during editing. eg : voyeristic shot of joel eating his pizza. After capturing all scenes that we felt would be significant to the piece we then had to create the sequence ( this did not have to have effects on it as we would later do this after knowing the order of the shots ).We now had the sequence of the shot however it was clear that it did not make sense to an external audience who would not know the story. And as an opening sequence we had to make sure that what we where conveying was clear. so we started again trying to make our sequence. The second time we made the sequence it was clear to the audience however the layout of the editing was not 'neat'

we need to add beginning titles and music alongside them we also need to add a vibrating noise to the phone shot and then tweek any last bits 

filming

we went to film on friday after school at samson's house with our 2 actors joel and becks we decided to wait until it was dark to start filming and then we went to the dark alleyway samson was in charge of filming i was in charge of directing and playing the stalker and percy was the technical manager.

we went to the alleyway then realised the lighting was bad so we then got a torch to shine on the scene this made the lighting better. we did a various amount of shots more than we innitially anticipated because we felt that it would be better to have allot more shots then less. after filming the following scene with the tripod we then did it hand held for the point of view shot.

we then went up to samsons room and filmed the turning of the pages of the scrap book and zoomed in on a picture of rebecca.

after this we filmed the scene of joel aka ollie eating in his living room and being watched from outside his window panting ... we then did various shots of all of these scenes and added more shots that we felt would be affective like a birds eye shot etc ...

during this we swapped rolls and i became the person filming and samson the director alongside percy and they where both technical managers ...
